What is an Aussiedoodle?
Aussiedoodles are a cross between a poodle and an Australian Shepherd. They come in 3 sizes toy ( 14 inches and under), mini ( 15 to 18 inches ) and standard ( over 18 inches). They are extremely intelligent and can be very fun to train, they are a willing and loyal companion. Aussiedoodles are generally happy, affectionate and playful. They can also excel as service dogs, emotional support dogs, therapy dogs and facility dogs. Many of our puppies have gone into this line of work. Aussiedoodles can have a variety of coat types, some take after the poodle parent and some take after the aussie parent. The more aussie look, the greater chance of shedding. Also generally the higher percentage of poodle, the less chance of shedding. No dog is truly hypoallergenic, though some breeds are better for people with allergies. Aussiedoodles will need regular grooming to keep them mat free. Aussiedoodles can fit into a variety of homes and lifestyles.
